FAQs

Some of our most commonly asked questions:

Hi there! Welcome to Bloom Well. I’m so happy to have you here! If you are a new patient, you can book your first appointment using the ‘new patient’ option on our booking page.

Please note, we take a deposit for the patient’s first visit because we reserve an hour of time for them in order to provide the most thorough care possible.

We have a 24 hour cancelation policy. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancelation leaves an open spot in the doctor’s day that could have been filled by another patient. If you need to reschedule an appointment for any reason we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancelations are subject to a late cancelation fee equal to the full amount of the booked service. Patient can reschedule their appointments during office hours by calling or texting 417-344-1544, or messaging us on Spruce. Patients can reschedule appointments online using their Jane App account 24/7.

We do not bill insurance. Our prices can be found on our online booking site. Our fees reflect typical self-pay rates, like what you’d expect to pay out of pocket for a specialist co-pay.

Right to Receive A Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visitwww.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Chiropractic care is more than safe; it’s recommended! We are a Webster-certified office, which means we’ve been trained in the Webster technique, which is a special pregnancy chiropractic technique that focuses on reducing pain and making room for baby.

Children are always welcome even if they are not there for an appointment. We are a whole family practice and have lots of toys and books for kiddos to play with while parents get adjusted!

We utilize the SAAT and 5-point acupuncture method to help decrease reactions and improve immunity in Alpha-Gal patients! We recommend 6 sessions of acupuncture to complete the SAAT method. Read more about our treatment plans for Alpha-Gal patients!
