Chiropractic
WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic is a licensed health care profession that enhances the body’s ability to heal itself through removing interference to the nervous system. The evaluation encompasses a full-body assessment including functional movement, muscle tone, joint mobility, and posture. Chiropractors use their hands to perform specific adjustments on the spine and extremities.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Dr. Abigail will assess the joints and muscles of the spine and extremities. She reduces interference to healing by adjusting fixations and improving joint motion.
CHIROPRACTIC CAN HELP WITH:
Craniosacral Therapy
WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY?
Craniosacral therapy is a noninvasive manipulative technique. Using subtle palpation of the skull, spine and sacrum, the doctor detects changes or blockages in the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Dr. Abigail will gently manipulate the bones of the spine and skull working with the cranial rhythm to restore proper flow of CSF. This gentle manipulative technique is safe for our pediatric patients.

Acupuncture is a form of complementary medicine that involves pricking the skin or tissues with needles and is used to alleviate pain and treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

WHAT IS DRY NEEDLING?

DRY NEEDLING CAN HELP WITH:
Dr. Abigail assesses your muscles and determines where the treatment will be most effective. She then inserts tiny sterile acupuncture needles into the muscle and manipulates the needles until the muscle releases tension.
Cupping
WHAT IS CUPPING?
Cupping is an alternative healing technique using suction to reduce muscular pain and treat migraines.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Dr. Abigail places cups on your skin and uses a plunger to create negative pressure, which pulls the tissue into the cup. She then leaves the cups on the skin until signs of increased blood flow show in the tissue.
CUPPING CAN HELP WITH:
Gua Sha
WHAT IS GUA SHA?
Gua sha is a healing technique in which a smooth-edged tool is used to gently scrap inflamed areas of your body to reduce muscular pain, migraines, fatigue, and anxiety.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Dr. Abigail applies cocoa butter to your skin and then applies pressure (to your tolerance) with gua sha tools to scrape through the tight muscles. She stops treatment when signs of increased blood flow show in the tissue.
